Prologue

Hello there, I am the online writer known as shirotsubasa which translates to ‘White wing’ in Japanese. But the name was made before I had a firm grasp on the language and there is a mistake in the name. Apologies to Japanese people, the name is supposed to be ‘Shiroitsubasa’ but I have already used the name once and I didn’t want to confuse myself just because of the ‘i’ there, so I didn’t bother. ^^

I am in my teens and I enjoy writing yaoi, which is a genre. It is an acronym of a Japanese phrase which is ‘yama nashi, ochi nashi, imi nashi’. It roughly translates to ‘no climax, no resolution, no meaning’ or, as the catchphrase, ‘No peak, no point, no meaning’. It is a genre which features homosexual or bisexual men. Meaning, it’s romance between two men. The number of people who like this particular genre is slowly and gradually growing, much to the dismay of homophobics. Well, I tend to write the straight, normal boy and girl, story but it lacks certain aspects that we seem to love in yaoi. One being that girls are just noisy. No, I’m not bein sexist. I’m female, mind you. It’s just that most girls in stories are stereotypes, being the weaker gender and whatever like that…

Anyway, I write yaoi stories and it’s basically fluff and doesn’t go very far from the first kiss and first date. I have an account on fictionpress and I would love you forever if you were to drop by and submit a review to one or two of my stories. I’m currently juggling a lot of stuff at once and I don’t have much time to write my stories but I update than around 10 days max.

I also go under a different name in fanfiction.net which I won’t reveal here. I have abandoned it for the time being, you see, but I’ll buck up and continue to write my fanfictions. It’s just that I lack the more poetic style of writing I had ealier after I came back from hiatus… Anyway, this thingie is my blog and basically you can get some updates on my life. Toodles! ^^
